Horse Adoption & Rescue Program

How it Works

Eq-Western.com supports the rescue and adoption of rescued, rehabilitated and retired horses. To this end we have created the Horse Adoption & Rescue Program to give back to our community and support the efforts of rescue organizations who are trying to place adoptable horses.

1. Legitimate rescue organizations who are licensed, registered or in some way formally recognized and who are run by knowledgable, experienced horse people are invited to participate in our program.
   
   
2. Program participants will receive special access to Eq-Western.com that enables them to post horses up for adoption at no charge.
   
   
3. Eq-Western.com donates the space for these ad listings and waives the posting fee.
   
   
4. Each organization may post classified ads for as many horses as they wish under this program for a year at which time their participation will be re-evaluated and extended upon request.
   
   
5. Only horses who have been rescued and are looking for new homes can be posted in this section. Regular horses for sale must be posted in the appropriate catagory and will be charged the regular rate.
