Mission Statement:
To rescue, protect and prevent the abuse of equines through rescue operations, education, investigations and advocacy.

WRERS has a strict non-breeding policy for all equines in their care. For the simple reason that they believe there are too many wonderful horses going to the slaughterhouses simply because there are not enough homes for them.

Adoption contracts must be signed to adopt a horse from this organization and they charge an adoption fee. Money received goes towards caring for rescued horses and finding them good homes.
