Eq-Western.com was out again, this time touring New York city with a horse-eye view. From the carriage horses in Central Park to the paintings and ancient statues of the MET it was easy to find horses in the big city. We even saw a cowboy try to make his 8 seconds on the big bronze bull of Wall Street!

Shortly after we arrived we had the privilege of talking with New York's finest mounted police detachment and watching them in action as they kept a public demonstration against the Olympics in line. Here we are in the photo below from left to right with Fazio (a red roan big boned draft cross gelding), Dominic (a draft cross buckskin gelding), Sean (the little sorrel pony mix gelding whom the officers liked to tease for being short) and Mac (the sleepy black bay gelding).
